Announcement: New European Travel Requirements

European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)

Starting in mid-2025, U.S. passport holders traveling for short-term programs in Europe for up to 90 days will be required to apply for travel authorization under the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS). Thirty countries are included under the ETIAS travel authorization. The application costs 7 Euros and will be tied to a traveler’s passport. Students should apply for their ETIAS authorization before buying tickets or booking accommodations, and passports must be valid for three months after departure. For more information and to apply, please visit the ETIAS website.
