NMSU Rotaract Club   NMSU Study Abroad Ambassadors
Rotaract is a recognized club at NMSU. It is part of the Rotary International Rotaract international program for adults ages 18-30 who want to make a difference. This club is university based and is designed to enable student members to grow personally and professionally, address community needs, and promote international understanding through friendship and services.
The Rotaract club holds meetings, usually every two weeks, which feature speakers, discussions, and visits to other clubs. Members get together for service projects, social activities, and leadership workshops. they may also participate in international meetings of Rotary.
The goal of the NMSU Rotaract Club is to bring U.S. and international students together to socialize and to work on both local and international service projects.Students planning to study abroad, or who have studied abroad, who would like to keep involved with international students and to contribute service locally and internationally are invited to join the club.
Club Service Activities: Fund raising event. Sale of goods from Juarez, Mexico women's cooperative (great Christmas gifts) with all proceeds going to help these women pay for educational costs of their children.

• helps exchange students adjust to the transition from their home to Las Cruces
• builds international friendships and connections
• plans fun activities for students such as trips
• raises awareness of various international programs and opportunities available
• assists the Office of Study Abroad with Fairs and orientations and other activities
