Students
on exchange who have to pay for their own housing
and meal plans may arrange to pay on a payment
plan as may any other student. The tuition payment
made by the Office serves as the required down
payment.
Outstanding balances on the student's account may be divided into 4 equal
payments, which must be paid in full prior to the end of the semester.
Payments may be made by major credit cards. In case a student
has to leave early, refunds of tuition paid by the Office will be made
to the Office's account and not returned to the student. The
percent of refunds for housing and meal plans is based on the date of
withdrawal from the university, and after about 4 weeks no refund is
allowed. Students may be liable for the full cost of the exchange if
they withdraw early and they are responsible for any unrecoverable costs.
