| On-Campus
Housing Application |
Fill
out the PDF version of the Campus
Apartments Application. All exchange
students eligible for the NMSU housing benefit
(such as ISEP exchange students) must choose
the Vista del Monte, Two Bedroom Unit (K-X) option,
for which the Office has arranged a discounted
rate. While exchange students paying
their own living expenses may choose any NMSU
Housing option available, only the Vista del
Monte Two Bedroom Unit option is eligible for
the Study Abroad discount. Additional cost above
that of the Vista del Monte option will be borne
by the student. DO NOT PAY THE $15 APPLICATION
FEE OR THE $200 PREPAYMENT--THE OFFICE HAS ARRANGED
TO WAIVE THESE FEES FOR ALL EXCHANGE STUDENTS.

Abroad Advisor, or Fax to 505-646-3482, or
mail the application to the Study Abroad Advisor,
who will work with the Housing Office on placement
in Vista del Monte. Note: Housing options are
negotiate each academic year, and location of
housing on campus for exchange students may vary
due to current availability.

| Facilities |
|
The
Vista del Monte Apartment Complex provides two
single rooms and a shared kitchen, common living
area, and bathroom. These apartments are open
year round. The apartments include all utilities
along with cable and internet service. Students
can choose either a furnished or unfurnished
apartment (no difference in cost).

Advisory
1: Students who sign an on-campus
housing contract may be obligated to stay for
the academic year.

| Off-Campus
Housing |
Students
who choose to live off-campus in an apartment
will be provided the equivalent cost based on
living in Vista del Monte. Students who want
to stay off campus are advised to arrive early
and stay in a hotel while looking for an apartment.
Rooms are usually posted on the advertising board
in the Student Union on campus.
