Employment
|
Students
may be considered for part-time employment
on campus only with written permission
of the Assistant Dean for Study Abroad (or with
written permission of ISEP for those under their
visa
program).
Employment is limited to 20 hours per week on
campus and must be arranged through the Student
Employment Office.

| Post
Program Academic Training |
Students
may request to work in their field of
study off campus after they complete their exchange. Normally,
an exchange student may be approved for 4 months
of “academic training” if they attended
one semester, and up to 9 months if they attended
two semesters.

Advisory:
If you want to consider the on-campus or off-campus
employment options, contact the office early
so the documents needed to be prepared to give
permission are done on time. Students approved
for work will also need to obtain a U.S. Social
Security ID Card before they can begin their
employment, and this application can take two
or more weeks.
