following information is provided as a guide.
Placement in a program is subject to approval
by the Office of Study Abroad and an advertised
program may be unavailable due to imbalances
in the exchange or for other unforeseen circumstances.

| ISEP
(Worldwide) Exchanges and Direct |
The
International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is
the largest exchange consortium in the U.S.
with many universities and most fields of study
open to exchange students. ISEP also offers
fee paying ISEP-Direct programs
that NMIEC students may considered. Note:
Exchanges in the UK, Spain, Costa Rica, Chile
(or any other country where placement is classified
as competitive) are not open to NMIEC students.
All other ISEP countries are open for consideration,
but early application is essential. Several
NMIEC students have studied on exchange with
ISEP or have enrolled in ISEP Direct.

| MICEFA
Paris Exchange |
MICEFA is
a consortium of universities in Paris and surrounding
areas and U.S. universities. Students pay NMSU
tuition and arrange for accommodations with MICEFA.
Proficiency in French required although one university
does provide French language study. Students
pay NMSU tuition and arrange for accommodations
with host institution. Note:
Several NMIEC students have applied successfully
to enroll with MICEFA.

| Alberta
Canada Exchange |
The University
of Alberta is Canada's
second largest university with opportunities
for undergraduate and graduate studies and
studies in French. UA is an outstanding teaching
and research institution, ranking in the top
five Canadian universities in research funding.
Students pay NMSU tuition and arrange for accommodations
with host institution.

Canada International Summer School |
The
University of Alberta 2007 International
Summer School Program offers several
issue-oriented themes of study: Theme #1: Forestry
Ecology /Environmental Sciences Field School • Theme
#2: Outdoor Explorations • Theme
#3: Canadian and Native Studies • Theme
#4: Sport and Tourism/Recreation Management.

| Cortona,
Italy Program |
The
University of Alberta has organized a study program
in Cartona,
Italy, where students can study the liberal arts
and learn Italian. NMIEC students may be considered
as guests of NMSU.

| Bahrom
Summer Program in Korea & Fall or Spring Exchange |
Seoul
Women's University, Korea,
offers a special summer program for
students (male and female) with interest in
Asian Studies. The
one-month (July 1-27, 2007) Bahrom International
Program, is a unique and low-cost
opportunity to learn about Asia. Female
stuents may also be considered for placement
to study in Fall of Spring semesters. Note:
NMIEC students could be considered for placement
and places should be open for Summer 2008 if
applications are in by mid-February. |

Joanneum (Austria) Exchange |
NMSU
started an exchange with the FH
Joanneum's Health Management in Tourism program
in Bad Gleichenberg, but students may also study
business and technology courses at the main campus
located in Graz, Austria. Students pay NMSU tuition
and arrange for accommodations with host institution. Note:
NMIEC students studying health sciences and/or
tourism may be considered for placement in the
program in Bad Gleichenberg, and Business students
may consider placement at the Graz campus..

| Jaume
I (Spain) Exchange |
Universidad Jaume
I, located in Costellon de la
Plana, Spain, is the northernmost province
of the Valencian Community, 65 kilometres
to the North of Valencia and 285 kilometers
to the South of Barcelona. Students pay NMSU
tuition and arrange for accommodations with
host institution. High intermediate to low
advanced level of Spanish required. Note:
NMIEC students with strong Spanish skills
may be considered for this program.

| Lyon
3 (France) Exchange |
Universite
Jean Moulin Lyon
3 is
located in Lyon, France, the
2nd largest city in France and a commercial
and intellectual center. Lyon 3 offers NMSU
students the opportunity for an exchange with
programs conducted in French or in English
(the Self Program). Students pay NMSU tuition
and arrange for accommodations with host institution. Note:
Several NMIEC students have studied at this
location.

| Pablo
de Olavide (Spain) Exchange |
Universidad
Pablo de Olavide (UPO) offers
NMSU students an exchange in Seville,
Spain's fourth largest city and
the capital of Andalusia which provides a
wealth of cultural experiences for students.
Students pay NMSU tuition and arrange for
accommodations with host institution. UPO
offers courses in English and Spanish. Note:
While some NMIEC students have studied at
this location, placement is competitive since
it is highly popular with NMSU students.
NMSU has an arrangement with the Texas
Tech Seville Center which could
be an alternative and NMIEC could be placed
readily as NMSU Guests.

Joã del Rey (Brazil) Exchange |
Universidad
Federal de São João del Rei (UFSJR),
in Minas Gerais state in Brazil, offers students
with Portuguese or upper intermediate knowledge
of Spanish opportunities to study on exchange.
UFSJR follows the Southern Hemisphere calendar
(February-December). Students pay NMSU tuition
and arrange for accommodations with host institution Note:NMIEC
students with strong Portuguese skills or advanced
Spanish skills could be considered for placement.

| Swinburne
(Australia) Exchange |
Swinburne
University of Technology (SUT) is
located in Melbourne, Australia’s
cultural, culinary, and sporting capital. It
has campuses at Hawthorn, Lilydale, and Prahan.
SUT follows the Southern Hemisphere calendar
(February-December) Students pay NMSU tuition
(exchange only) and arrange for accommodations
with host institution. Note:
One NMIEC student has enrolled on exchange,
but placement is competitive since this is
popular with NMSU students.

| Würzburg
(Germany) Exchange |
Würzburg, Germany,
allows students to study Business courses in
English. The academic calendar at Würzburg
is based on a Winter and Summer Term (which we
would call Fall and Spring). Fall (their Winter)
runs from mid-September through late January,
and Spring (their Summer) runs from early March
through mid-July. So NMSU students should plan
on studying one academic year, or for Spring
only. Students pay NMSU tuition and housing and
arrange for meals on their own. Note:
NMIEC students could be considered for placement.
