Ministry of Education and Sports Internship
Options
Students enroll as exchange students, but take no classes in Belize. Instead they complete a supervised educational intern project for which they will receive 6 (summer) or 9 (fall, spring) graduate credits. Open for Summer, Fall or Spring. Students apply to this program through the International Graduate Intern Program.
Application Consult with Dr. James O'Donnell, Department Head of Curriculum and Instruction, to design a program.
Eligibility Advanced graduate students in education-contact Dr. O'Donnell.
Deadlines March 15 for Fall; October15 for Spring; late applications accepted at discretion of program director. Early application encouraged.
Pay to NMSU Application fee of $300, NMSU tuition at graduate rate for 6 to 9 credits, insurance ($36 per month).
Scholarships 
Students should apply for local, federal and private scholarships.
Withdrawal Penalty  
The $300 application fee is non-refundable.All other fees charged by NMSU refundable unless unrecoverable.
