| Eligibility |
Students
with sophomore standing who have one semester
of Japanese or a knowledge of Hiragana and Katakana
before application with a 2.5 g.p.a.

| Scholarships |
Students
should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
Students with Pell grants should apply for Gilman awards
(up to $5,000) for study abroad. Students should
apply for Freeman grants
(up to $7,000) for study in Asia, NSEP (Boren)
Undergraduate and Graduate Awards to study Chinese
($7,000 plus per semester).
