Applications to Pacifico are subject to review
and approval by the Office of Study Abroad
and an advertised program may be unavailable
due to imbalances in the exchange or for other
unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are
subject to change.

specializes in Business Administration, Economics,
Science, Technology, and Environmental Administration.
In addition to the exchange option, UP offers
a Summer fee paying program.

For
exchange, GPA 3.0+ with advanced Spanish. For summer,
2.75 GPA and intermediate Spanish. |

For
2008-2009: Application fee ($300),
tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee
per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per
month).

of all program arrangements organized by UP,
including costs of summer program option. UP
offers host family or student residence options
for housing.

| Scholarships |
Students
should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
The IFSA scholarship may
be used for study on exchange at Lyon 3 . Students
with Pell grants should apply for Gilman awards
(up to $5,000) for study abroad on exchange during
Fall or Spring semesters.

| Withdrawal
Penalties |
Students
who have accepted the UP exchange placement
then withdraw will be charged $200 by
NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students
who accept an academic year placement may have
to pay the entire cost of the program if they
withdraw early. Other UP penalties for
unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal
after accepting placement.
