Applications to U Jaume are subject to review
and approval by the Office of Study Abroad
and an advertised program may be unavailable
due to imbalances in the exchange or for other
unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are
subject to change.

Jaume
offers programs in the Humanities, Social Sciences,
Education, Economics, Tourism, Business Administration
and Management, Science and Technology, and Engineering.
They also offer Spanish
Courses for foreign students. Students may
study for academic year, or Spring semester.

Spanish
proficiency and a GPA of 2.75 with junior standing
by time program begins. |

2008-2009: Application fee ($300),
tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee
per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per

Visa |
The
Spanish Government requires U.S. students to
present their application in person (or to have
an NMSU representative present it ). New Mexico
State University students must use the Houston
Consulate. Applies to students
studying more than 90 days only.

Students
should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships. |
| Withdrawal
Penalties |
Students
who have accepted the UJ placement then
withdraw will be charged $200 by
NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students
who accept an academic year placement may have
to pay the entire cost of the program if they
withdraw early. Other UJ penalties for
unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal
after accepting placement.
