Options
This is a 4-year university with undergraduate programs in education, business, nursing, science and technology, social sciences, marine sciences and others. It is located in a unique multicultural country. Program is in English. Main campus is in Belmopan.
Chances of Placement Excellent, but fields of study limited. Early application required to arrange placement.
Eligibility GPA 2.75 with sophomore standing by time of exchange.
Application Deadlines Fall deadline is April 1 and Spring deadline is October 15.
Paid to NMSU
For 2008-2009: Application fee ($300), tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per month).
Paid to UB All other program costs.
Insurance
HTH is required.
Scholarships
Students should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships. The IFSA scholarship may be used for study on exchange at UB.
Withdrawal Penalties 
Students who have accepted the UB placement then withdraw will be charged $200 by NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students who accept an academic year placement may have to pay the entire cost of the program if they withdraw early. Other UB penalties for unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal after accepting placement.
