Applications to U of Belize subject to review
and approval by the Office of Study Abroad
and an advertised program may be unavailable
due to imbalances in the exchange or for other
unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are
subject to change.

is a 4-year university with undergraduate programs
in education, business, nursing, science and
technology, social sciences, marine sciences
and others. It is located in a unique multicultural
country. Program is in English. Main campus is
in Belmopan.

2008-2009: Application fee ($300),
tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee
per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per
month).

| Scholarships |
Students
should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
The IFSA scholarship may
be used for study on exchange at UB.

| Withdrawal
Penalties |
Students
who have accepted the UB placement then
withdraw will be charged $200 by
NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students
who accept an academic year placement may have
to pay the entire cost of the program if they
withdraw early. Other UB penalties for
unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal
after accepting placement.
