Options
Students may study in any fields for which they are qualified. UACJ has institutes of Design and Art, Biomendical Sciences, Social Sciences and Administration, and Engineering and Technology. A convenient option for students who want to study close to home.
Chances of Placement Excellent for students with strong Spanish skills.
Eligibility Spanish proficiency and a GPA of 2.75 with junior standing by time program begins.
Application Deadlines Fall deadline is April 1 and Spring deadline is October 15.
Paid to NMSU
For 2008-2009: Application fee ($300), tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per month).
Paid to UACJ Cost of all program arrangements organized by UACJ.
Insurance
HTH insurance is required.
Scholarships
Students should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
Withdrawal Penalties
Students who have accepted the UACJ placement then withdraw will be charged $200 by NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students who accept an academic year placement may have to pay the entire cost of the program if they withdraw early. Other UA penalties for unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal after accepting placement.
