MICEFA (PARIS UNIVERSITY CONSORTIUM) LINK
The following information is provided as a guide. Applications to MICEFA are subject to review and approval by the Office of Study Abroad and an advertised program may be unavailable due to imbalances in the exchange or for other unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are subject to change.

Undergraduate and graduate exchanges in the fields of social sciences, the humanities, business administration, hard sciences and engineering at Université Paris 3; Sorbonne Nouvelle Censier Université Paris 4; Sorbonne Université Paris 5, Rene Descartes Université Paris 6; Pierre et marie Curie Université Paris 7; Denis Diderot Université Paris 8; Vincennes - Saint Denis Université Paris 9; Dauphine Université Paris 10; Nanterre Université Paris 11; Sud Université Paris 12; Val de Marne Université Paris 13; Nord Université Evry Val d'Essonne; Institut Catholique de Paris; Université de Toulouse; Université de Lille. Some opportunties for teaching English for pay.
Chances of Placement Excellent for students with strong French skills.
Eligibility
GPA of 2.75 with junior standing by time of exchange for undergraduates, and 3.0 for graduates; Prefer academic year commitment. Advanced French language skills.
Application Deadlines  
Paid to NMSU
For 2008-2009: Application fee ($300), tuition per semester ($2,379), program fee per semester ($200), HTH insurance ($38 per month).
Paid to MICEFA All other program costs. Students are housed in apartments and meals prepared in apartment or students eat out.
Insurance HTH insurance is required.
Scholarships 
Students should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
Withdrawal Penalties 
Students who have accepted the MICEFA placement then withdraw will be charged $200 by NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students who accept an academic year placement may have to pay the entire cost of the program if they withdraw early. Other MICEFA penalties for unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal after accepting placement.
