Applications to Lyon 3 are subject to review
and approval by the Office of Study Abroad
and an advertised program may be unavailable
due to imbalances in the exchange or for other
unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are
subject to change.

Universite
Jean Moulin Lyon 3 offers
studies in business, languages, humanities,
history, geography, communication studies,
and philosophy in French. The Self Program
(After
opening LYon 3 website , click on Contenu des
enseignements for Self Program ) is
designed for students with little or intermediate
French skills who want to continue to learn
French while taking courses taught in English.
The curriculum is organized so students can
study the academic year or Fall and Spring,
since the calendar is organized to match the
U.S. semester system.

Students
should apply for local, federal and privale scholarships.
The IFSA scholarship may
be used for study on exchange at Lyon 3 . Students
with Pell grants should apply for Gilman awards
(up to $5,000) for study abroad.

| Withdrawal
Penalties |
Students
who have accepted the Lyon 3 placement
then withdraw will be charged $200 by
NMSU to recover its administrative expenses. Students
who accept an academic year placement may have
to pay the entire cost of the program if they
withdraw early. Other Lyon 3 penalties
for unrecoverable costs may apply for early withdrawal
after accepting placement.
