following information is provided as a guide.
Placement in a program is subject to approval
by the Office of Study Abroad and an advertised
program may be unavailable due to imbalances
in the exchange or for other unforeseen circumstances.

| ISEP |
The
International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is
the largest exchange consortium in the U.S.
with many universities and most fields of study
open to exchange students. ISEP is highly affordable
since students pay the cost of tuition, room
and board at NMSU. ISEP has been a popular
exchange with NMSU students because of the
cost and wide availability of locations for
exchange, with many options in English.

| ISEP-Macquarie |
Through
a special agreement with ISEP, NMSU may arrange
exchange placements with Macquarie
University bilaterally. ISEP manages the admission process,
and costs and benefits are based on the ISEP
exchange model.

| CONAHEC |
NMSU
is a member of the Consortium for North
American Higher Education Mobility (CONAHEC),
a group of U.S., Canadian, and Mexican higher
education institutions that offer cost-effective
student exchanges at many North American colleges
and universities. Students pay NMSU tuition and
arrange for accommodations with host institution.
Intermediate Spanish required to study in Mexico,
English for Canada with some options for French
speakers.

| MICEFA |
MICEFA is
a consortium of universities in Paris and surrounding
areas and U.S. universities. Students pay NMSU
tuition and arrange for accommodations with MICEFA.
Proficiency in French required although one university
does provide French language study. Students

Alberta |
The University
of Alberta is Canada's
second largest university with opportunities
for undergraduate and graduate studies and
studies in French. UA is an outstanding teaching
and research institution, ranking in the top
five Canadian universities in research funding.

The University
of Belize is located in a unique
multicultural country. This is a good program
for independent spirited students who want
a multicultural experience. Students pay

Queensland |
Central
Queensland University's main
campus is at Rockhampton near the East Coast
of Australia, gateway to
the Great Barrier Reef and the Queensland
Outback. As an Exchange student you will
participate in genuine Australian experiences,
enjoying varied landscape, history, people
and cultures at CQU, where international
students, comprising half of the student
body, are very well supported. CQU
operates on the Southern Hemisphere calendar
(February-December). Students pay NMSU tuition

started cooperating with Universidad
Autonoma de Chihuahua in
the 1980s and has continued to offer exchanges
since then. UACH is located about 300 miles south
of Las Cruces in Chihuahua, Mexico. Students

NMSU
started an exchange with the FH
Joanneum's Health Management in Tourism program
in Bad Gleichenberg, but students may also study
business and technology courses at the main campus

I , located in Castelló de
la Plana, Spain, is the northernmost province
of the Valencian Community, 65 kilometres
to the North of Valencia and 285 kilometers

advanced level of Spanish required.

2nd largest city in France and a commercial
and intellectual center. Lyon 3 offers NMSU

Nagoya University
of Foreign Studies specializes in
teaching Japanese at all levels and works to
integrate international students with Japanese
students. NUFS has Fall and
Spring Semester Programs only. Students pay

de Olavide |
Universidad
Pablo de Olavide (UPO) offers
NMSU students an exchange in Seville,
Spain's fourth largest city and
the capital of Andalusia which provides a
wealth of cultural experiences for students.

offers courses in English and Spanish.

Universidad
del Pacífico (UP)
provides an exchange option at its campuses
in the Andes at Quito, in coastal Guayaquil,
and in the colonial city of Cuenca. (Note:
The academic calendar varies among campuses
due to different seasons in Quito and Guayaquil.
Students have to work out a time that best
matches the NMSU academic calendar.) UP follows
the Southern Hemisphere calendar (February-December).

of the Sunshine Coast (USC),
located on the Eastern Coast of Australia
near Brisbane, offers exchange and fee-paying
programs. USC follows the Southern Hemisphere

located in Melbourne, Australia’s
cultural, culinary, and sporting capital. It
has campuses at Hawthorn, Lilydale, and Prahan.
SUT follows the Southern Hemisphere calendar

| TEC
Monterrey |
TEC de
Monterrey, Mexico has exchanged students
with NMSU since 1982. TEC is a U.S. accredited
institution with several campuses in Mexico
that accept international students. They
offer programs in Fall, Spring, and Summer.
Campuses: Ciudad de Mexico, Cuernavaca, Estado
de Mexico, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Monterrey,
Queretero, San Luís Potosi, Toluca.

| Würzburg |
Würzburg, Germany,
allows students to study Business courses in
English. The academic calendar at Würzburg
is based on a Winter and Summer Term (which we
would call Fall and Spring). Fall (their Winter)
runs from mid-September through late January,
and Spring (their Summer) runs from early March
through mid-July. So NMSU students should plan
on studying one academic year, or for Spring
only. Students pay NMSU tuition and housing and
arrange for meals on their own.
