The following information is provided as a guide. Applications to CET are subject to review and approval by the Office of Study Abroad and an advertised program may be unavailable due to imbalances in the exchange or for other unforeseen circumstances. Program costs are subject to change.
Options
CET arranges semester, academic year, summer and special programs.
Chances of Placement Excellent.
Eligibility
GPA of 3.0 or higher. For China or Vietnam, consult with Dr. Ken Hammond, Department of History, to determine what credit can be transferred.
Application Deadlines
Contact CET.
Paid to NMSU $150 application processing fee, $200 administrative fee each semester, plus $36 per month for HTH insurance.
Paid to CET All other program costs.
Insurance
HTH is required unless CET requires purchase of an insurance plan acceptable to NMSU.
Scholarships Federal and private scholarships may be applied to CET programs
Withdrawal Penalties
Students who have applied to CET and accepted their placement will be charged $100 by NMSU for early withdrawal. Students need to check with CET about their withdrawal and refund policies.
