APPROVAL PROCESS

NMSU students who have accepted placement into a study abroad program need to follow these steps to complete the NMSU approval process:

Transfer Credit Program: Complete the NMSU Study Abroad Agreement: Transfer Credit Programs, which requires financial aid verification, transfer credit approval, and Office of Study Abroad approval. Until this form is completed and signed enrollment in the ISE course that establishes full-time study abroad status cannot be completed.

Distance Education Program (Graded Credit): Complete the NMSU Study Abroad Agreement: International Distance Education Programs, which requires course instructor approval, financial aid verification, and Office of Study Abroad approval. Until this form is completed and signed enrollment in the distance education courses cannot be completed.

Group or Individual Travel: Complete the student participation section of the NMSU Study Abroad Agreement: Student Travel Programs, which authorizes the travel as officially sanctioned by NMSU.
