Transcript Policy for Guest Students |

Where
will the official transcript for guest students
be sent? |
| The Office
of Study Abroad will receive the transcript
from the foreign university partner. After checking
that the guest student has no outstanding financial
obligations, and that the student has filled
out our final program evaluation, the original
transcript will be sent to the study abroad office
of the student's home institution. |

Will
NMSU place a hold on release of foreign transcripts
to the guest student's home institution? |
Yes. A
hold will be placed on the release of foreign
transcripts received by NMSU should a student
fail to settle agreed upon financial obligations
to NMSU and/or to a host institution.

Will
NMSU determine transfer credit for guest students? |
| No. Your
home institution will review the transcript and
determine what transfer credit to apply. |
