Do
guest students enroll in classes at NMSU?
|
No. Guest
students enroll in universities abroad, never
at NMSU. They will be registered at their home
institution according to its rules for handling
study abroad.

Do
guest students enroll in courses at host institutions
while studying abroad?
|
Yes. Guest
students studying abroad will be registered in
courses at a host institution.

APPROVAL
PROCEDURES

Who
approves guest enrollment in study abroad with
NMSU? |
First
the student's home institution has to agree that
the student may study abroad with NMSU, and their
study abroad advisor will sign off on the NMSU
Study Abroad Agreement-Guest Students. Then
the student will apply to the program of choice,
and the Assistant Dean for Study Abroad will
review and approve the application.
