lot of the tips I kept in mind at all times.

more specific to country and gender of
student. • For experienced travelers,
may be less helpful, but for those who
have
never traveled, helpful. • Needed
more information on how we would contact

professor, be tested. • More safety
information and info about in country transportation.
• Could use more information about

use more information on how much host currency
you shoudl bring for the first couple of

more accurate info on cost of travel between cities,
plus extra costs if arriving early or departing
late. • Provide information on how to relate
to your host family in the first few days of being
there. • Helped me investigate issues specifric
to traveling to Argentina. • Need more information
about ebsites linked to hostels, budget air-fare,
eurrailo passes, etc. Also need to recommend that
students obtain travel books usch as "Let's
Go." • Too general. South of Spain is
completely different. • Would like to have
known more about taxies and cost to get to host
family. • Links to material need to be better. • Info
on culture shock important. I thought as an independent
person I would have no problems, but I was very
wrong. |
| Overall |
I
feel that these quizzes have adequately prepared
me
for many problems which I may
face. Furthermore, they have ecouraged me
to consider many different circumstances,
concerns, and possibilities during my study
abroad opportunity. Finally, the resources
that this course has provided give me even
more of an edge and tool to solve problems
on my own throughout my travels and schooling.
These 2 quizzes helped me a lot. They opened
my eyes of how much I need to prepare for
my trip and my stay in Spain. There are many
things I need to do before I leave.
