•Enjoyed
teachers, good price, good deal with terrific family
placement and days to start program flexible.
• Felt
initial class was too easy, but too large a gap
for me to enroll in next level. |
CHUKYO

EXCHANGE-ISEP

•
Chukyo amazing compared to other Japanese universities
because few students are native speakers of English
(8 American, 3 Koreans, and 1 Finnish students
while I was there--all other Japanese). Thus
we had to use Japanese almost all the time, and
we study abroad students were able to become
very close to create a comfort zone for study. • I
recommend Chukyo to anyone that is outgoing.
It is a great place to gain long lasting friendships.
It is a huge city with endless ideas of activities.
Japan is an awesome country.
• Japanese
language instruction less effective so practice
outside with Japanese speakers of free instruction
at the Nagoya International Center. • Administration
needed to improve services for students.

• Learn
much from the experience. • ... they take
care of the students and many people from around
the world to interact with.
• Felt
I needed more information about what to do
there. • Don't get complete immersion
so have to avoid using English.

the ohly American in their class.• Best

•For
learning Japanese, APU has a top notch program
that will definitely improve anyone's language
ability.
• Socially,
Beppu City has limited things to do and see. |

CENTERS

INSTITUTE

• Eurocentres
cater to students from all over. You'll be exposed
to more than just Japanese and English. You meet
people from all over the world, not just the
U.S. The instruction is well structured with
lots of opportunities for using what you have
learned. Kanazawa is small enough to find you
way around. (Kanazawa, Eurocentre).
